As an Asian American pastor, writer, and speaker, I hope that this blog will contribute to the larger conversations we are having as a nation around justice and also inspire you to pursue reconciliation in the context of relationship.

Short Bio: Jonathan Eng currently serves as Campus Pastor for Gateway Church Pflugerville. He previously served as the Pilot Project Director for Asian American Ministries with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. His experience includes coaching culture change, leading a thriving Asian-American ministry at the University of Texas at Austin, planting an International Student Ministry and starting LGBTQ and Faith dialogues in church and college contexts. He has served overseas as an associate program director with Educational Services Exchange with China and mobilized para-church and church ministries for missions. His journey with Christ has led him to pursue biblical reconciliation and missions. Jonathan has a Master of Divinity through Fuller Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Gloria, live in Austin, TX, where they love to explore nature and take hikes with their two dogs, Squishy and Mocha. Jon’s hobbies include basketball, drinking coffee, traveling, reading, and trying new foods.
